if you lot get to an automotive paint supply store they have a stripper that is meant for plastic and rubber.brake fluid too works but is very slow. the gel stripper mentioned higher up wil soften the plastic, restoration after that will be impossible
-
Just become too the local hardware store and go the cheapest spray on stripper, spray it on wait for it too bubble wipe off then launder off with soap and water! No demand for annihilation Expensive... done information technology many times!
-
I've used the brake fluid play a joke on and it worked great. Merely soak a rag and wipe it on liberally. I permit it sit overnight and the paint pretty much simply wiped off the side by side day.

I have used Aircracaft pigment remover on metal and human being did it work. I take never tried this version "simply for plastics" simply here is a link

The search function will bring upward enough suggestions to make your head spin. Not quite as many threads about it equally there is about oil, just pretty close.

Let me know what works! I was told soaking parts in Wesley'southward Bleach White would work without etching the plastics...never tried it. I have this issue with an NOS Part! My beginning ride ever was a 1983 rm 80....I bought new mill YELLOW plastics from suzuki when available. The right side panel came painted metallic silver...cute gloss yellow under it....have to go down to it!!

I prefer using oven cleaner. I spray information technology on heavy and allow it sit down for a few hours and then take the fenders to a carwash for a high pressure hose downward. This will take off like 98% of the paint, all but what is in-beaded into any scratches. and then I follow up with a proficient hand washing to remove the rest.

Ok...Heres a pic afterwards first awarding of easy-off oven cleaner. Left it on for approx. 1 hr and took information technology to the machine wash and power washed it. If you compare to pics in kickoff mail service you can see it took off xc% of the white paint that was on top. Applied 2d helping. Guess I'll see if information technology takes the cherry/argent coats off next! Squeamish shiny spots on either side are where decals were (painted also). Don't know if they cleared off easy due to oven cleaner or just considering of high water pressure? I'll update again after I ability wash off 2nd application.
